No sure if you guys heard that Justin Bieber came down to Oz. His only concert @ Circular Quay in Sydney was cancelled due to the overwhelming crowd, and their resistance to listening to police to move back from railings. Children were being swamped and squashed and many of these tween fans in attendance were without their parents.
Justin's appearance was moved to Sydney's channel 7 Sunrise studio where he performed 'Baby' indoors. The crowd outside was phenomenal, and not leaving until the 'Sunrise' team flashed messages onto the plasma screens outside that 'he has left the building'. Who knew a 16 year old boy could create mass hysteria. Thank God I have boys!!!!!!
By the way my Magpies won again in a blockbuster match against Essendon. YES!!!!!!!! Check out AFL on cable if you can, it's a fantastic, exciting game to watch.

School holidays are happening in Melbourne & I took my boys to see 'How to train a dragon'. OMG it is fantastic. You need to take the kiddies to see it, if you don't have children who cares!It's a great movie. I laughed, cried, my kids thought I was a sook. Must see cartoon.
Bad week for my beloved Collingwood. Lost this week to St Kilda, bad scoring by the pies. Saints 10.9 (69) to Pies 4.17(41). Poor kicking by the boys, 17 points, bad aiming. Anyway hope next week is better.
Have a good week guys. Assignments to do, stress levels to increase. Uni for myself, school for the boys starts again next week.

Happy easter to you all. A happy girl here. My Magpies one again. This time by 1 point againts the Melbourne Demons. What a nail biter. Were in front by a point, 5 seconds to to go in the Melbourne forward 50m. Their player could have marked it in the goal square, but dropped it and siren sounded. Yes my boys won.
Hope we have a better win next week. Though 4 points is 4 points, will take it any way it comes.
Had a great Easter yesterday spent with family and friends, spent at a park and my boys loved riding their scooters at the skate park there.
Still recovering from a sugar overdose. Hope everyone had a great Easter.

Hey Guys
A bit of a gripe. Have noticed that PXY is way too repetitive. Being in Australia and listening to the station during my day time hours, I usually hear the programs run from Rochester time 9pm to early morning. Have noticed that the music is repetitve. Can hear the same song a few times over a few hours. This is a fantastic station, and there are too many great artists out there that can be included onto the play list to give listeners a wider variety of music. Not sure what other listeners think that may be listening during those hours.

Hey Guys
The phenomenal Lady Gaga is currently in Australia touring and must I say she has caused an uproar with some parents. Parents have taken their children to her concerts and have expressed their concerns that Gaga's language and behaviour is not appropriate for young children to see. My question to this debate is 'Did the parents taking their children to her concert listen to her lyrics prior to attending, or did they expect her to behave like a Wiggle??? By listening to her lyrics you can tell that they are not approprite for pre-teens, yet parents take their children and are disappointed. I wonder if these parents took their children P!nk's concert and covered their eyes when she was gyrating on the couch during 'I touch myself'.
I think parents need to put a bit of thought into where they may be taking their young children before verbalising thier disappointment and not assessing their poor judgement . The blame should not lie upon the artist as they are displaying their creativity, and performing for a crowd who appreciates their music.
By the way I personally think Gaga and P!nk are both fantastic, amazing performers and love their music.

Hey Guys
Felt like sharing my thoughts on my 1st day of kindergarten placement. Doing my 3rd year @ uni and need to observe and plan kindergarten programs for 4 year olds @ kinder. 1st day went well, butterflies roaming around in my stomach. Was lucky enough to be placed @ the kinder where my kiddies went, so i.m lucky in that aspect.
Definitely nerve racking, but my mentor teacher, the kinder teacher who observes my interactions with the children, and finally assesses me at the end of the semester is fantastic.
looking forward to next Tuesday and the swarm of children that will be there on the day.
