• Help, what would you do?

    So what do you do when someone you love becomes completly dependent on the person they are dating.  reguardless of this person being a friend or family member, would you tell them your concerns even if it means ripping a huge hole in the bond you have?  the constent texting, calling and "random" meetings when you happen to be out and about.  do you think it's healthy to be that dependent on one person?  I understand falling in love and being in love, but does that mean you have to push away the friends and family time that person used to make time for?  IDK what to do about this, telling that person seems to be a big risk, and even though i am quite the risk taker, i'm not quite sure i want to take That big of a chance....

     

    got any advice oh great internet world?

    I'm feeling the pressure to get rid of my post pregnancy tummy fast b/c soon I'll have to try on bridesmaid dresses for my sister's wedding.  So the other day I went for a walk with Alexa. 

    Why do some guys feel the need to honk and yell out their car window to every girl they see?  During my walk, at least 3 different cars that drove by honked, whistled or yelled out the window...one guy even blew me a kiss.  Really? Why?

    I guess I could understand it if I was looking good in a hot little outfit but I was in shorts for the 1st time since last summer, so this is the 1st time my legs are seeing the sun and I was pushing a stroller!

I must have it, I want it badly, and I think I might die if I don’t get it. The minute I pay off my credit card tomorrow, I am going back to the website I saw it on and ordering it!     Hey everyone,

    I'm finally back from my time off after the birth of our 2nd daughter Alexa (thanks for all the well-wishes, BTW), and I wanted to get everyone caught up on what I know about 98 PXY Summer jam a couple of weeks ago.

    Here's what I know:

    -It was WILD (if you got in).

    -Some listeners didn't get in.

    -There were many counterfiet tickets on the streets, and you should proceed with caution when buying anything off of Craigslist (especially when the cost of a ticket is $0.00).

    -Many who did not get in, are rightfully upset.

    -We ARE going to make it up to ALL of you.

    Hopefully, you still have your tickets.  They will come in handy when we announce our plan here in a couple of weeks.  I'm not allowed to say EXACTLY what we're planning, but if it all comes together, I highly doubt you will be disappointed.

    Until then, feel free to use this blog post as a forum to ask questions and I will do my best to answer each one of them.

    Please know that we put a ton of work into 98 PXY Summer Jam as a way to thank you for listening.  We would NEVER do something deliberately to upset our listeners and fans.  YOU make us what we are!

    i have been trying to call this station about the summer jam and how ALOT of us couldnt get in. i hear that you guys are going to be doing something else that is supposed to be really BIG, but as you know summer is coming up soon, and my friend that has the tickets is going away, like how most people go on vacation during summer. if its possible, if you guys could announce what is going on soon because we really want to know. it REALLY sucked we couldnt get in, but whatever you guys are doing now with that situation sounds like fun, and i dont want to miss that either...

• Summer Jam '09

    The very first Summer Jam that I had went to was back in 2000 when it was on the roof next to the court house downtown. My friend Chris and I went together the first time. The second Summer Jam I went to was at Frontier Field in 2004 with 2 of my best friends, Amy and Cheryl. Both Summer Jams I went to were absolutely amazing. I had a blast both times. Just recently I attended the Summer Jam June 4th 2009 at the Port of Rochester at Charlotte Beach and once again did I have an amazing time! I went with 5 of my friends....Mia, Shawn, Chris, Rob and Steve. It was great. I couldnt have asked for a better nite. The weather was great, I was gettin my drink on with my friends, the entertainment was great, the food & drinks were great....It was perfect. As you could prolly tell I was one of the lucky ones who did get in...My friends and I had line jumper passes so we got to cut right thru everyone who was wiatin in line. It sucked though when the show finally ended. I was so sore and had the worst headache the next day from all the dancing and drinking I did that nite, but it was all worth it. I felt like I had waited months for the Summer Jam! I had got my tickets in early May when PXY was at the first ticket drop off place....South Town Plaza. And I was so hungover that day from drinking the nite before, but my friends and I made it thru that scavenger hunt w/no problem, esp me since I was pretty much up all nite gettin sick from drinking! LOL I wont ever forget that! I cant wait to attend more PXY events and I can not wait til the PXY Summer Jam in 2010!!
